Pro: Is Lewisville close to the airport and job centers?

Yes. The city describes DFW Airport as about 10 minutes away, and I-35E and SH 121 lead toward Dallas, Coppell and the northern suburbs. The Census Bureau puts the average commute at about 25 minutes.

Pro: Does Lewisville have rail transit?

Yes, which is unusual for a North Texas suburb. DCTA's A-train stops at three Lewisville stations and connects to the DART Green Line at Trinity Mills in Carrollton.

Pro: What does Lewisville Lake add?

Lewisville Lake covers 29,000 acres with 233 miles of shoreline. Lewisville Lake Park has beaches and boat ramps, and LLELA protects about 2,000 acres below the dam for trails and paddling.
